Michael Harrison
Controller

Born and raised in Texas, Michael relocated to California in 1998 to pursue a BS in Accounting from San Jose State University. Currently, Michael is applying all his accounting skills as Financial Controller at Duran. Prior to becoming part of the finance world, Michael developed a very strong background in customer service while working for many years in retail both as a staff member and in management. . His previous work experiences have taken him from the small coffee shop environment to the greater responsibilities of retail banking. Michael has deep-rooted beliefs in giving back to the community and to society and spends a lot of his time volunteering with the FLY Mentor Program where he

mentors at-risk and disadvantaged youth. During his free time, Michael enjoys horseback riding, white water rafting, running and many other outdoor activities.
